Highest single day of COVID-19 cases reported in N.C. as state saw 137 deaths since Wednesday

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

Thursday, the highest single day of cases was reported in the state.

There are now 539,544 PCR positive cases and 53,202 antigen positive cases, 3,960 people hospitalized and 7,213 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 10,398 new total cases and 137 additional deaths from Wednesday.

A total of 7,261,440 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
