Local N.C. areas see five COVID-19 related deaths as state reports 1,514 new cases since Monday

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Tuesday, there are now 740,772 PCR positive cases and 105,512 antigen positive cases, 1,563 people hospitalized and 10,965 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 1,514 new total cases, 31 additional deaths and 4 less hospitalizations from Monday.

A total of 9,989,919 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
