N.C. holds COVID-19 briefing after 1,345 new coronavirus cases, 35 additional deaths reported in a day

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Tuesday, there are now 157,741 cases, 1,000 people hospitalized and 2,570 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 1,345 new cases, 52 additional hospitalizations and 35 additional deaths from Monday.

A total of 2,102,359 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.

In our local areas there were a total of 24 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.
