The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Monday there are now 320,990 PCR positive cases and 18,204 antigen positive cases, totaling 339,194 total positive cases.
1,601 people are being hospitalized for COVID-19 and there have been 5,030 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 2,419 new total cases and 5 additional deaths from Sunday.
A total of 4,965,564 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
