The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Tuesday, there are now 301,998 PCR positive cases and 15,497 antigen positive cases, 1,501 people hospitalized and 4,852 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,937 new PCR cases, 351 new antigen cases and 38 additional deaths from Monday.

A total of 4,682,064 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
