N.C. reports 3,084 new COVID-19 cases since Sunday as statewide percent of positive tests rises

COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 705,950 PCR positive cases and 93,329 antigen positive cases, 2,339 people hospitalized and 9,991 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 3,084 new total cases and eight additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 9,311,180 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.

The percent of positive COVID-19 tests statewide is now 8.6% after four days of the percentage being lower than 8%.
