N.C. reports over 3K new COVID-19 cases, 35 additional deaths in a day as hospitalizations continue to rise

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Tuesday there are now 323,751 PCR positive cases and 18,543 antigen positive cases, totaling 342,294 total positive cases.

1,724 people are being hospitalized for COVID-19 and there have been 5,074 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 3,100 new total cases and 35 additional deaths from Monday.

A total of 5,010,194 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
