The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Sunday, there are now 62,142 cases, 890 people hospitalized and 1,312 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,605 new cases and 15 additional deaths from Saturday.
A total of 871,905 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
