The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Sunday, there are now 406,174 PCR positive cases and 30,421 antigen positive cases, 2,520 people hospitalized and 5,823 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 6,819 new total cases and 27 additional deaths from Saturday.
The statewide daily percent positivity is currently 11.6%.
A total of 5,970,489 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
