North Carolina COVID-19 cases rise by 1,051 since Monday; Pasquotank Co. sees highest local case rise

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.

As of Tuesday, there are now 137,895 cases, 1,122 people hospitalized and 2,204 coronavirus related deaths.

That is 1,051 new cases, 11 additional hospitalizations and 32 additional deaths from Monday.

A total of 2,017,498 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.

Pasquotank County had the highest local COVID-19 case rise in a day with 21.
