The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Monday, there are now 101,046 cases, 1,086 people hospitalized and 1,642 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,268 new cases and 8 additional deaths from Monday.
A total of 1,423,888 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.
