North Carolina reports 1,466 new COVID-19 cases; Local viewing areas see 40 cases, zero deaths in a day

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 281,679 PCR positive cases and 13,181 antigen positive cases, 1,169 people hospitalized and 4,615 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 1,466 new PCR cases, 55 new antigen cases and 8 additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 4,386,435 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
