North Carolina reports 1,472 new COVID-19 cases, 10 deaths; state case total passes 155K

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Sunday, there are now 155,113 cases, 898 people hospitalized and 2,531 COVID-19 related deaths.

The state reported 1,472 new cases, 98 fewer hospitalizations and 10 additional deaths from Saturday. Our viewing area saw 38 new cases and no new deaths, with Hertford County reporting the highest daily increase at 12 cases.

A total of 2,078,472 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
