North Carolina reports 1,877 new PCR positive COVID-19 tests, 8 additional deaths after seeing spike in cases over weekend

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 299,061 PCR positive cases and 15,146 antigen positive cases, 1,424 people hospitalized and 4,814 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 1,877 new PCR cases, 95 new antigen cases and 8 additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 4,644,683 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
