North Carolina reports 2,124 new COVID-19 cases; Local areas report 41 new cases, no deaths since Friday

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Saturday, there are now 223,089 cases, 1,034 people hospitalized and 3,765 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,124 new cases, 31 fewer hospitalizations and 18 additional deaths from Friday.

A total of 3,334,152 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
