North Carolina reports 2,133 new COVID-19 cases since Sunday as statewide percent of positive tests back over 6%

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 739,768 PCR positive cases and 105,002 antigen positive cases, 1,567 people hospitalized and 10,934 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,133 new total cases and 8 additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 9,964,355 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.

On Monday the statewide percent of positive tests was 6.1%, up from Sunday's reporting at 5.9%.
