The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Wednesday, there are now 105,001 cases, 1,137 people currently hospitalized and 1,698 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 2,140 new cases and 26 additional deaths Tuesday.
A total of 1,491,820 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.
