North Carolina reports 2,643 new COVID-19 cases; Pasquotank Co. reports highest local case increase

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Saturday, there are now 749,388 PCR positive cases and 109,160 antigen positive cases, 1,414 people hospitalized and 11,212 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,643 new total cases, 26 additional deaths and 51 fewer hospitalizations from Friday.

A total of 10,213,861 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
