North Carolina reports 2,734 new COVID-19 cases as hospitalizations near 2K

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 343,518 PCR positive cases and 20,994 antigen positive cases, totaling 364,512 cases statewide.

1,966 people are being hospitalized for the virus, and there have been 5,261 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,734 new total cases and 21 additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 5,295,290 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
