The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Sunday, there are now 297,184 PCR positive cases and 15,051 antigen positive cases, 1,395 people hospitalized and 4,806 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 2,876 new PCR cases, 261 new antigen cases and 50 additional deaths from Saturday.
A total of 4,617,558 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
