North Carolina reports 2,924 new COVID-19 cases in a day; Hospitalizations continue to decline

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Friday, there are now 747,385 PCR positive cases and 108,520 antigen positive cases, 1,465 people hospitalized and 11,186 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,924 new total cases and 49 additional deaths from Thursday.

A total of 10,150,647 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
