North Carolina reports 3,776 new cases, 7 COVID-19 related deaths; Currituck and Dare County sees highest local case increase

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 680,446 PCR positive cases and 80,856 antigen positive cases, 2,781 people hospitalized and 9,342 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 3,776 new total cases and 7 additional deaths from Sunday.

Hospitalizations in North Carolina also dipped Monday as there were 1 fewer hospitalizations reported.

A total of 8,908,258 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
