North Carolina reports 3,833 new COVID-19 cases; Local areas report 58 new cases, 5 deaths

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Wednesday, there are now 710,653 PCR positive cases and 95,245 antigen positive cases, 2,291 people hospitalized and 10,181 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 3,833 new total cases and 135 additional deaths from Tuesday.

A total of 9,379,095 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.

As of February 10, North Carolina has vaccinated 1,486,544 people, with 1,341,966 people now vaccinated with at least one dose by NC providers and 144,578 people in federal long-term care program vaccinated with at least one dose.

Gov. Cooper is set to provide updates on the state's COVID-19 response at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
