North Carolina reports 4,128 new COVID-19 cases; Local areas report 85 new cases, 2 deaths

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Friday, there are now 717,498 PCR positive cases and 97,096 antigen positive cases, 2,151 people hospitalized and 10,376 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 4,128 new COVID-19 total cases and 82 additional deaths from Thursday.

A total of 9,509,541 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.

North Carolina has not yet released its vaccination totals for Friday. This article will be updated when the numbers are released.
