North Carolina reports 4,172 new COVID-19 cases, bringing state total to more than 791K

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Saturday, there are now 699,321 PCR positive cases and 92,200 antigen positive cases, 2,468 people hospitalized and 9,926 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 4,172 new total cases and 85 additional deaths from Friday.

Hospitalizations in North Carolina also dipped Saturday as there were 55 fewer hospitalizations reported.

A total of 9,204,581 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
