The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Monday, there are now 649,864 PCR positive cases and 73,581 antigen positive cases, 3,287 people hospitalized and 8,720 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 4,633 new total cases and 25 additional deaths from Sunday.
A total of 8,500,479 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
