The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
19,445 cases and 682 deaths were reported at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.
As of Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., there are now 19,700 cases, 585 people hospitalized and 691 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 677 new cases and 30 additional deaths from Monday.
A total of 265,008 people in North Carolina have now been tested.
