North Carolina reports 5,273 new COVID-19 cases, record increase of 98 deaths

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Wednesday, there are now 419,231 PCR positive cases and 32,643 antigen positive cases, 2,811 people hospitalized and 5,979 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 5,273 new total cases and 98 additional deaths from Tuesday.

A total of 6,106,202 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
