North Carolina reports 6,168 new COVID-19 cases, 130 deaths as hospitalizations continue to fall

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Saturday, there are now 672,774 PCR positive cases and 79,853 antigen positive cases, 2,883 people hospitalized and 9,287 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 6,168 new total cases and 130 additional deaths from Friday. Hospitalizations in North Carolina also dipped Saturday as there were 165 less hospitalizations reported.

A total of 8,802,799 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
