North Carolina reports 6,490 new COVID-19 cases as state death toll passes 9K

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Thursday, there are now 662,186 PCR positive cases and 77,314 antigen positive cases, 3,238 people hospitalized and 9,046 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 6,490 new total cases and 131 additional deaths from Wednesday.

A total of 8,648,423 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
