North Carolina reports 6,715 additional COVID-19 cases on Thursday as hospitalizations increase

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Thursday, there are now 493,951 PCR positive cases and 45,594 antigen positive cases, 3,472 people hospitalized and COVID-19 related 6,748 deaths.

That is 6,715 new total cases and 19 additional deaths from Friday.

A total of 6,898,509 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
