North Carolina reports 626 new coronavirus cases, 4 additional deaths; Hertford Co. sees highest local case count

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.

As of Monday there are now 136,844 cases, 1,111 people hospitalized and 2,172 coronavirus related deaths.

That is 626 new cases, 2 more hospitalizations and 4 additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 2,001,919 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.

Locally, North Carolina saw 13 cases, with Hertford County reporting the highest number of cases at 5.
