The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Tuesday, there are now 45,853 cases, 829 people hospitalized and 1,154 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 751 new cases and 36 additional deaths from Monday.
A total of 651,421 people in North Carolina have now been tested. 12,942 new tests were counted in Monday's total.
