North Carolina reports 800 new COVID-19 cases as number of completed tests drastically drops since Sunday

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Monday there are now 194,381 cases, 885 people hospitalized and 3,247 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 800 new cases, -4 hospitalizations and 4 additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 2,817,539 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina. There were 12,721 tests reported on Monday. This was a large drop in the number of tests completed as there were nearly 34,000 reported on Sunday.
