North Carolina reports more than 1,900 new COVID-19 cases, 41 additional deaths since Monday; Local viewing areas report zero deaths

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Tuesday, there are now 253,847 cases, 1,214 people hospitalized and 4,211 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 1,910 new cases, 21 additional hospitalizations and 41 additional deaths from Monday.

Local areas reported 17 new cases and no new deaths, with Pasquotank County reporting the area's highest case increase of 5 new cases.

A total of 3,890,764 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
