North Carolina reports more than 6K COVID-19 cases in 24 hours; State case total passes 690K

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Wednesday, there are now 622,857 PCR positive cases and 68,055 antigen positive cases, 3,740 people hospitalized and 8,200 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 6,415 new total cases and 61 additional deaths from Tuesday.

A total of 8,171,658 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
