North Carolina reports more than 6K new COVID-19 cases as hospitalizations continue to fall

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Sunday, there are now 645,559 PCR positive cases and 73,253 antigen positive cases, 3,303 people hospitalized and 8,695 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 6,096 new total cases and 109 additional deaths from Saturday.

A total of 8,451,294 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
