North Carolina reports 1,273 new COVID-19 cases, 32 additional deaths since Saturday

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Sunday, there are now 202,704 new cases, 917 people hospitalized and 3,441 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 1,273 new cases, 3 additional hospitalizations and 32 additional deaths from from Saturday.

A total of 2,974,052 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.

As of Saturday, the percent of positive COVID-19 tests was 5.10%.
