North Carolina reports over 100 COVID-19 deaths for third straight day as hospitalizations continue to fall

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Friday, there are now 696,096 PCR positive cases and 91,253 antigen positive cases, 2,523 people hospitalized and 9,841 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 5,547 new total cases and 113 additional deaths from Thursday.

Hospitalizations in North Carolina also dipped Friday as there were 107 fewer hospitalizations reported.

A total of 9,148,199 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
