The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Tuesday, there are now 186,887 cases, 916 people hospitalized and 3,111 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 1,106 new cases, 21 additional hospitalizations and 51 additional deaths from Monday.
Our local viewing area saw 19 new cases and zero deaths.
A total of 2,652,440 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
