North Carolina reports over 2k new COVID-19 cases, 50 additional deaths; Local viewing areas see 24 new cases

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Wednesday, there are now 270,675 PCR positive cases and 12,127 antigen positive cases, 1,186 people hospitalized and 4,507 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,062 new PCR cases, 363 new antigen cases and 50 additional deaths from Monday.

A total of 4,172,131 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
