North Carolina reports over 4K new COVID-19 cases, 82 deaths as percent of positive COVID-19 tests jumps to 11.4%

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Tuesday, there are now 349,280 PCR positive cases and 22,314 antigen positive cases, 2,039 people hospitalized and 5,366 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 4,199 new total cases and 82 additional deaths from Tuesday.

A total of 5,355,690 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.

North Carolina's statewide percent of positive COVID-19 tests jumped to 11.4% on Wednesday up from 10.2% and has risen every day for the last five days.
