The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Saturday, there are now 294,308 PCR positive cases and 14,790 antigen positive cases, 1,425 people hospitalized and 4,756 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 3,506 new PCR cases, 359 new antigen cases and 36 additional deaths from Friday.
A total of 4,576,735 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
