North Carolina sees 1,619 new COVID-19 cases since Tuesday; State hospitalizations on slight incline

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Wednesday, there are now 229,115 cases, 1,152 people hospitalized and 3,813 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 1,619 new cases, 49 additional hospitalizations and 39 additional deaths from Tuesday.

A total of 3,459,943 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
