The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Tuesday, there are now 268,613 PCR positive cases and 11,764 antigen positive cases, 1,175 people hospitalized and 4,457 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 2,162 new PCR cases, 187 new antigen cases and 67 additional deaths from Monday.
A total of 4,145,714 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
