North Carolina sees 2,458 new COVID-19 cases; Local areas report 42 new cases

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 725,385 PCR positive cases and 98,967 antigen positive cases, 1,941 people hospitalized and 10,501 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,458 new total cases and 10 additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 9,660,088 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
