North Carolina sees 7,187 new COVID-19 cases since Wednesday as hospitalization numbers decrease

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Thursday, there are now 628,562 PCR positive cases and 69,537 antigen positive cases, 3,666 people hospitalized and 8,339 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 7,187 new total cases and 139 additional deaths from Wednesday.

A total of 8,240,694 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
