North Carolina sees 8,914 new COVID-19 cases with 11.2 percent positivity; Pasquotank County sees highest local case increase

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Friday, there are now 596,770 PCR positive cases and 63,070 antigen positive cases, 3,916 people hospitalized and 7,933 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 8,914 new total cases and 108 additional deaths from Thursday.

A total of 7,874,642 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
