The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Sunday, there are now 566,175 PCR positive cases and 57,013 antigen positive cases, 3,774 people hospitalized and 7,567 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 8,833 new total cases and 142 additional deaths from Saturday.
A total of 7,431,475 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
