The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Saturday, there are now 603,682 PCR positive cases and 64,144 antigen positive cases, 3,895 people hospitalized and 8,016 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 7,986 new total cases and 83 additional deaths from Friday.
A total of 7,949,914 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
